But apart from these natural differences, the most important variables really down to the motivation of each person and their level commitment.

People who are regularly able to take the time to listen to recordings of self hypnosis or going their hypnotherapist will experience a greater degree of benefit a person who commits only half-heart to it. If you do not motivate yourself to use self-hypnosis, then there is no advantage. Hypnosis is not magic, it requires a level of commitment, however small, to make positive changes in your life. This is true for any type of therapy.

Your attitude plays a great influence on the effects of hypnotherapy. If you want to refute the theory of hypnosis, you will certainly not enter into hypnosis with an open mind is necessary to achieve greater susceptibility. Or if you're too focused on the analysis of results rather than enjoy, you put up unnecessary barriers which will certainly hinder the process and influence the degree of benefit that you can possibly achieve.

The best advice I gives anyone interested in using self-hypnosis to achieve changes in their lives, is to relax and go with the flow. Let everything be done naturally and do not call. The more conscious effort you make the less response you'll get from your unconscious. It really is as simple as that.

As a hypnotherapist who uses hypnosis and witnessed its effects every day, I can say with confidence that I see no reason why a person can benefit from self-hypnosis to some degree.
