5 Unique Careers for Unique People
Well, you're the kind of person who shudders at the thought of working behind a desk in traditional employment. You want something fun. Something different. Something unique. The problem is that you are not sure what it is. You know what you enjoy doing. But you can not be paid for doing something you enjoy doing. Right? In fact, you can, If you just think outside the box and be creative.
The truth is, there are interesting ways to make money and do things you love. Think of all the dog lovers out there who have their own dog walking and dog care. They learn to make money and be around their passion for dogs. (Well, go figure, I am a cat person.)
So here is just a sample of five unique careers for Single people:
1. Hypnotist
Well, I'm a little partial to it that I find myself being a certified hypnotist. You can learn to hypnotize people and help them achieve their goals. Maybe you're in metaphysical things, or you just love to help people. Perhaps you find you are good at persuasion. A career as a hypnotist or hypnotherapist can be right up your alley. And if you're a little an entertainer, you can also learn stage hypnosis.
How long does it take to learn to be a hypnotist? My training hypnosis motivation institute in California took a year, which included classes on hypnosis, counseling techniques, therapeutic hypnosis techniques, and business aspects of setting up a hypnosis practice. You can learn to hypnotize people in a seminar that weekend, but if you are considering a career using hypnosis for pain control, weight loss motivation, etc., so I recommend a longer program which will prepare you to effectively use hypnosis to the various issues. A school that has a mentoring program or placement is good though. Be sure to examine all regulations or restrictions your state might have on hypnotists.
2. A personal concierge
If you're the kind of person who likes to take care of details? Can you book the best rooms, the lowest rates, get the best seats to all shows? Put your talents correctly as a personal concierge. Although there is no official definition of personal concierge, this profession is a booming business. Why? As hectic lifestyle of today leaves little room for little professionals today to pay their bills, schedule their activities (Both personal and professional), or book their holiday. As a personal concierge, you can also expect to queue, to organize cupboards and drawers and do personal gift shopping. True, you can actually paid for Shop till you drop.
How do you get started as a personal concierge? There are, of course, companies may hire you, but you can always create your own personal concierge business. Start small (stand in the lines, the food, do small runs) and very soon you can build your reputation more difficult assignments. While there of busy executives, you need business.
3. Make cuts for others
Is scrapbooking your thing? Earn Money to it by making albums for others. A custom album is a great gift idea for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, etc. The thing is that while scrapbooking is a popular hobby, some people simply do not have the time or, let's face it, the talent to develop a album's great to be given as a gift.
