Hypnosis is a form of witchcraft
My husband and I have sole custody of his 3 children, one is a girl of 13 years. She a horrible habit of biting on the inside of her cheeks and she and I discussed ways to help stop it. We Both feel it has something to do with anxiety and take us to see a doctor. In casual conversation, I have mentioned hypnosis as a method sometimes used to break habits and it said it would not be something we would do in his If ... She visited her mother this weekend and casually mentioned to mom that I spoke of hypnosis. Mom freaked out, insisting that I wanted to say, a form of witchcraft on her. Needless to say, this did not help my daughter plays STEP-chewing habits. My step daughter, who knew that I had recently received a CD for hypnosis (to quit) is concerned that I was involved in witchcraft and was trying to involve ITS the same. What would be your response to all this?
